Dr Rahman Nazari
CATARACT SURGEON AND MEDICAL RETINA SPECIALIST
Dr Nazari is a specialist ophthalmologist with extensive expertise in doing complex cataract surgeries and managing medical retina conditions. He has performed thousands of cataract surgeries with a focus on refractive outcome of surgeries and using latest sophisticated intraocular lenses.
After becoming a fellow of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists in 2016, Dr Nazari completed an additional 18-month fellowship in medical retina. His main areas of expertise and interest include Diabetic Retinopathy, Age Related Macular Degeneration and Retinal Vein Occlusion.
Dr Nazari is appointed as a consultant ophthalmologist at The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, where he is actively involved in training next generation of ophthalmologists in Victoria.
Dr Nazari has published several research articles in well known international ophthalmology journals.
